Humans become gods and museums come to life in Amduat: The 12 Hours of Ra. Take a docent-led tour with major figures from Egypt’s Pharaonic age. Select a tour group for this immersive multi-media theatrical experience written and directed by DANM graduate student Laura Boutros.

AUDIENCE ADVISORIES

• This production contains loud noises, flashing lights, haze, guns, swords, references to xenophobia, terrorism, torture, and suicide.
• If you have not checked in with your tour group by 7:30 p.m (or by 3:00 pm for matinees), you may be denied entry. No refunds.
• If you have a disability-related need, please contact the Arts Events Office at artsevents@ucsc.edu as soon as possible.
  

PURCHASE YOUR TICKET

• Select ticket(s) from the Ankh, Scarab, Lotus, and/or Cobra tour group(s).
• You may select tickets from more than one group.
• Capacity is limited to 56 total tickets per event (14 participants per tour group).
• If a tour group is full, you may see a message indicating “Tickets from this option are sold out.” Select a ticket from another group or choose another performance date.
• There will be no sales window or will-call tickets at this event.
  

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Early arrival encouraged between 7:00-7:15 p.m. (2:30-2:45 p.m.) to have tickets scanned and COVID-19 protocols checked before joining your tour group.
• When you arrive at the theater, a Pharaoh will greet and orient you.
• Staggered, timed entry per each tour group every 5-10 minutes until 7:30 p.m. (3:00 p.m.)
• The audience will be moving around and is seated only for limited times during the experience.
